Thus far I haven't seen anything in KDE about keyboard shortcuts. I'm used to using alt-tab for traversing windows rather than Desktops, so I was wondering how I could change the function of alt-tab.
The other thing I'm wondering about is my mouse button in web-browsers. In Firefox I've got auto-scrolling set so when I click it I can scroll up and down faster. But I'm also used to middle-clicking to retiring the auto-scroll cursor, and in addition to doing that it seems to think I also wanted to go to my Homepage or some site in my history (I'm not actually sure what). I know middle-click has a similar function in other web browsers even without autoscrolling, and I'm just wondering how to disable it since it seems to be a KDE thing. |

in your k-menu, go to Preferences -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts. You can change the alt-tab shortcut there.
I'd also like to know how to change what the middle click does in Konqueror. Its been annoying me. |

If your are using Mozilla or Firefox with "smoothscroll" you have to:
Code: | user_pref("middlemouse.contentLoadURL", false); |
add to the user.js file in your browser profile dir.
( somewhat ~/.mozilla/firefox/default/random/user.js)
you can change it also when you type
in the URL bar.
This Middlemouse thing, is because normally under Linuy it copies stuff to clipboard, but this makes "smoothscroll" nearly unusable.
try it
I don´t have glue about this in Konqi. sorry _________________ useful Xterm, Aterm and RXVT-Unicode features |

Nice, thank you very much. KDE is becoming more and more comfortable to use. |
