|
|
Hello i'm not sure where to post my problem, but well as i use kde and everytime i'm changing the time from the kde's clock i post it here. If i should post in another place please tell me.
Well my problem is that everytime i start kde and see the hour, it's wrong. If i check the parameters i have:
Quote: |
Hour zone: CEST
Area: Europ/Madrid
|
And this is correct, at least the Europe/Madrid though i don't know if its CEST or what should be. But the only thing that is wrong when i enter is the time and/or the day depending on the hour i enter.
Do you have any idea? thanks in advance. |

Set your /etc/conf.d/clock to local time. Then make sure that you clock is set right. If it is an older install the clock settings will be in the /etc/rc.conf. Setting to local is great if you sync the clock with the hd and do a multi-boot. |

Then emerge ntp and have it auto set the clock. |
