alright installed from gentoo 2004.2, running kernel 2.6.8-r3, Xorg with Gnome loaded, if you need any further specs let me know. The problem is after 3 emerges of pcsx I sitll can't get it to run, I type in "pcsx" and on the initial it gives me the 2 config messages and then just sits there, after the initial it just sits there and does nothing again. All the shortcuts such as bios and plugins inside the script itself are correct, the permissions look correct. |

I don't recall the details of the problem it was necessary to fix, but I have this wrapper script for pcsx:
#!/bin/sh
cd `expr $0 : '\(.*\)/.*' '|' .`
env LD_PRELOAD=libpthread.so.0 pcsx |
