Compiler cannot create executables....

Hey all, I am having an issue finishing up the emerge of Gnome. On the last two items: gnome-base/gnome-2.6.2-r1 and x11-misc/xscreensaver-4.15, I get the error "configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables. See 'config.log' for more details."

I went to look at the log and found license errors. The contents of the entire log are below. Any help would be greatly appreciated
