|
|
I swear I didn't do anything. I was trying to install a second version of lirc (which doesn't work either, so Im kinda fed-up right now ), and when I reboot mythbackend no longer starts properly. The init script doesn't complain when it loads, but its just doesn't start mythbackend. If I run mythbackend manually it works perfectly
If I try to stop the init script with /etc/init.d/mythbackend stop it crashes saying something like 'could not stop', so I have to zap it. But if I stating it again, nothing.
Whats going on? I havent touched mythtv, and nothig else seems affected..
Thanks. |

My backend borked a few times as well. It was a problem with mysql. Try running mythfilldatabase. Reboot.
If it still doesn't work repair the mysql "mythtv" db tables. (Search google).
These are just some idea's not sure if it will work. |

Thanks for the swift replies
mysqlcheck came up with some errors, but repairing them doens't seem to have had any effect. I'll try mythfilldatabase in the morning, just in case!
