|
|
I installed Gentoo from a running Linux system and have never used a Gentoo intall-cd, so I don't really know what is included in the cd.
I want to add a 2 different stage3 tarballs + LF Connection Keeper + distfiles to a bootable
livecd. Can this be done using mkisofs??
Can I unpack a iso image to check what's include?
Can I copy a cd to a "fake-cd" dir/partition?
I have been told that there is software for this in Windows, so I assume it can be done in Linux.
My cdrw dyed a few days ago, so I can't try anything untill it has been reincarnated. |

There are a bunch of different threads on this, from a quick glance this one looks like it covers just about everything you'd want to do--but it was a VERY quick glance. Try that out, if that doesn't work search the forums. There are a BUNCH of posts on this topic.
