|
|
Code: | cardmgt[5876]: starting MA401RA Wireless Adapter |

Code: |
#
# Prism GT/Duette 802.11(a/b/g) PCI/Cardbus support
#
#CONFIG_PRISM54 is not set |
I never think of the future. It comes soon enough.

_________________ I never think of the future. It comes soon enough.

heu c kwa dmesg ?
sinon orinoco_cs n'est pas à l'origine dans /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6
mé g fait un truc qui est à peu pres pareil : voila ce que j'ai fait :
Code: | /etc/init.d/pcmcia stop //ensuite j'ai brancher ma carte PCMCIA : ca n'a pas planter :) enfin bon c t normal
/etc/init.d/pcmcia start // là ca a planter direct ! |

mais tu sais ce que c'est ton orinoco_cs?
refais la même chose sans lui
et tapes dmesg en console ça te donne les messages kernel _________________ I never think of the future. It comes soon enough.

Quote: | CONFIG_HERMES: x
x
x A driver for 802.11b wireless cards based based on the "Hermes" or
x Intersil HFA384x (Prism 2) MAC controller. This includes the vast
x majority of the PCMCIA 802.11b cards (which are nearly all rebadges)
x - except for the Cisco/Aironet cards. Cards supported include the
x Apple Airport (not a PCMCIA card), WavelanIEEE/Orinoco,
x Cabletron/EnteraSys Roamabout, ELSA AirLancer, MELCO Buffalo, Avaya,
x IBM High Rate Wireless, Farralon Syyline, Samsung MagicLAN, Netgear
x MA401, LinkSys WPC-11, D-Link DWL-650, 3Com AirConnect, Intel
x PRO/Wireless, and Symbol Spectrum24 High Rate amongst others.
x This option includes the guts of the driver, but in order to
x actually use a card you will also need to enable support for PCMCIA
x Hermes cards, PLX9052 based PCI adaptors or the Apple Airport below.
x You will also very likely also need the Wireless Tools in order to
x configure your card and that /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts works :
x <http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/Tools.html> |
et reboot sur ce noyau _________________ I never think of the future. It comes soon enough.

Code: | * Starting pcmcia...
cardmgr[5420]: watching 1 socket
cardmgr[5420]: starting, version is 3.2.5
cardmgr[5420]: socket 0: Netgear MA401RA Wireless Adapter
cardmgr[5420]: executing: 'modprobe orinoco_cs'
cardmgr[5420]: + FATAL: Module orinoco_cs not found.
cardmgr[5420]: modprobe exited with status 1
cardmgr[5420]: module /lib/modules/2.6.8-gentoo-r3/pcmcia/orinoco_cs.o not available
cardmgr[5420]: bing 'orinoco_cs' to socket 0 failed: Invalid argument |

_________________ I never think of the future. It comes soon enough.

It comes soon enough.
