|
I've just got idesk to work and I was following the tutorial over at http://ikaro.dk/content.php?article.16 and the wierdest thing happens. I get an outline of the Icon and its name but the actuall icon space is empty.
Also, is there anyway to get rid of the drop shadows by composite on the icons?
I'm using X.Org 6.8, xcompmgr, Fluxbox 0.9.9. I'm using Fluxspace too. |

I don't think anyone knows...
I tried setting my Transparency to 255 (opaque), but even that doesn't work.
I think I will try fbdesk or something, and see if that helps. |

same "phanton" effect here , smell like a bug.
xcompmgr screw my slit, i guess it's too alpha to be useable. |

Exact same problem here, except with Xorg 6.8 and OpenBox...
It looks like its been months since this error was first discovered, and not yet fixed. Did you guys send a bug report off at all about it?
Anyway, giving fbdesk a try, since it's "brother" fbpanel is quite nice, tho not my first choice _________________ ----
