Trying to install with the experimental install-x86-2004.2-r1-minimal.iso image and getting
Code: |
SQUASHFS error: zlib_fs returned unexpected results 0xfffffffd
SQUASHFS error:Unable to read page, block 5d1a9, size 8286
|
followed by
Code: |
/bin/tar: cannot execute binary file
|
when I try to untar the stage tarball. Anyone else seeing this? _________________ -keg |

you probably had a download/burn error. try to download and burn the image again. You'd also try to clean the disk itself if it is not a fresh burn.
Also please note that experimental releases might have serious bugs in them. How about using something that's stable? _________________ mb |

I'll give that a try. Was using the experimental since I couldn't boot with the stable 2004.2 cd. Thanks for the help! _________________ -keg |
