Java problems

Hi.

For a while I haven't been able to use java. Everytime I try to run a java app the jvm will crash.

I've tried browsing forums and docs and so on to no avail. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Ensuring I get the gcc 3.3.2 version of blackdown (blackdown doesn't work for my bank so I still need suns JVM working too).

The next thing I want to try is setup all things java from the beginning, which means unmerging blackdown and sun jdk - removing all user and system configs on java and start over.

I know other people have managed to fix this problem with the same versions of pertinent software. So I should be able to as well.

Thus if someone could give me a heads-up on where all configs and so on and so forth pertaining to java in generel or either sun or blackdown jdk I'd appreciate it.

As soon as I get that info I'll start work and post results here, hopefully I can find a way to uniformly fix this problem, since I encountered a handfull of people with the same problem as me.
