nvidia-kernel+gcc-3.4+2.6.9-rc1-mm5=version magic [SOLVED]

I emerged 'nvidia-kernel', which went fine,

when I `modprobe nvidia`:
FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.9-rc1-mm5/video/nvidia.ko): Invalid module format

and `dmesg`:
nvidia: version magic '2.6.9-rc1-mm5 SMP preempt PENTIUM4 gcc-3.4' should be '2.6.9-rc1-mm5 SMP preempt PENTIUM4 gcc-3.3'

anyone have any ideas on the matter?

The problem was that I compiled the kernel w/ gcc 3.3, while I compiled nvidia-kernel w/ gcc 3.4

The fix is to recompile the kernel w/ gcc 3.4
