I had to install WinXP on a spare partition for a work app
Everything works fine except when I reboot into Gentoo the keyboard works for the bios and the grub menu, but when Gentoo loads, the mouse works but the keyboard (PS2) is completely dead. I then have to ssh in from another comp, reboot, and then it works fine. Any ideas???
I have tried powering down completely after windows, but that doesn't work.

Is there any error messages coming from i8042 or atkbd? You could also try passing i8042.reset option when you boot. (it's 2.6, right?) _________________ Dmitry |
