university firewall, direct connect (dcgui-qt)

hi, my university has blocked all hubs but the one university direct connect hub in which only university students can connect. but i want to connect to outside university hub to download new stuff that is not on university hub.

i heard its possible to bypass firewall using proxy or something. can anyone help?

you can only bypass the university firewall by setting up a proxy outside of it on ports that are open in the firewall. you should consider if you really want to do this though as it most probably violates your university's rules and you could be punished for it.
