|
|
Ok i don't know what to do
I am new to gentoo, i installed Gentoo first on my "testpc" and after some little problems and the help of reading this forum i got it working
in fact, i am using it now
i want to install Gentoo on my normal pc instead of Mandrake Linux
Only 1 minor problem
Gentoo does not see my SATA disk
Sinds i only use SATA i gi=ot stuck here in a very early stage
I have a Chantech 9PJL mainboard witjh on-board SATA
Mandrake and other distro's detect my controler and disk well
but Gentoo doesn't
I tryed to use de doscsi option but the only scsi he detects is mu card-reader
Please help me out here coz i really like Gentoo as a replacement for Mandrake, if i can only install it |
