Which 2.6 kernel is the most stable, or known to work with VMWARE??
My VMWARE workes fine with 2.4 but does not seem to like 2.6
Any tips on getting vmware working with 2.6 much appricieated

I migrated from 2.4 to 2.6 (gentoo-dev-sources with grsecurity patches) without any problem....
- exactly what goes wrong with vmware and 2.6 ?

Hi, thanks for the speedy reply,
Problem with VMWARE is the screen screws up and freezes as soon as i attempt to
start a virtual machine. Id switch back to 2.4 if it wasn't for the fact it dosen't work very well with nForce chipsets |

Seems that you are not the only one having problems with 2.6+nforce+vmware....
