postfix and verizon

I use verizon DSL and I'm trying to get postfix to use outgoing.verizon.net as a relayhost.

I know verizon needs the from address to be user@verizon.net and SMTP auth enabled.

I've been battling this for the last couple evenings and if someone can post their working config, I appreciate it.

ok I finally got it working...I'll post a howto if anybody cares in the next couple of days...
