Salve,
per listare tutti i programmi installati nel sistema il comando non è
perchè a me battendo questo comando mi viene scritto solo così:

forse non ho usato le opzioni giuste.

Non mi é chiaro cosa vuoi fare.
Per "listare tutti i programmi nel sistema" puoi fare:
Per "listare tutti i programmi che si possono aggiornare" puoi fare:
se vuoi sapere anche le use flags aggiungi la 'v' tra le opzioni....

qpkg ha bachi anche nel semplice elencare i programmi installati? se fosse vero mi tocca buttare via una serie di script che mi erano molto utili... o comunque a rivederne l'efficacia! 
è scocciante che uno degli strumenti più utili per gestire una gentoo sia bacato
