2.6.9 kernel with gensplash and vesa-tng?

I'm looking for a 2.6.9 kernel with both gensplash and vesa-tng patches.

Any advice? Most 2.6.9 kernels in portage don't seem to have those.

Well ck-sources might be on a 2.6.9-rc but as for what is in portage 2.6.8.1 is the latest released kernel so until 2.6.9 comes out your probably won't see it in portage.

Sure it's not your favorite option, but you may want to manually patch a vanilla kernel... just get the patches from http://dev.gentoo.org/~spock.

nitro-sources has them. (most current is 2.6.9-rc2-nitro1).
