I was looking at the ALSA soundcard matrix, and the notes for the Mia say that it hasn't been submitted to CVS. What does this mean? Is the driver finished, but not included in the base Alsa package? The ALSA site is VERY vague, kind of frustrating.

have you tried asking them?
or you could have a look whether a bug-report regarding this has been filed.
i know it can be frustrating to meddle with alsa, and i don't find their webpage too easy to read either. takes some time to understand what you're supposed to do. :roll:
