I'm wondering what I should have in /etc/hosts for the dnsmasq box -- I realize dnsmasq passes hostnames off to the network, so I don't define any external boxes in /etc/hosts, besides the server @ 192.168.1.1. I currently assign the box as something like '192.168.1.1 foo.bar.lan bar.lan foo'.
I know it's not 'wrong' the way I have it setup, but I just want to make sure it's correct and done properly too. My other boxes come up fine, with a hostname of whatever and a proper domainname of domain.lan.
Thanks. _________________ :: soroh -*~ |
