Dhcp stopped working

My dhcp obviously stopped working recently... it gives timeout when starting eth0 at bootup.

I haven´t changed anything, except I´ve updated portage and dctc.

Network woerks well in Windows.

if u did emerge unmerge portage . that could be a problem
theres a restore, and if u try to remove theold portage the best eay to do it is emerge clean
or if u run etc-update that could replace ur settings

keep in mind i am only a noob so i could be wrong

OK, it was obviously a highly temporary problem with my ISP, it worked randomly the times I booted Windows and was down when I booted Linux...
