I have an HP Pavilion n5475 laptop that I just cannot get a kernel working properly for. I am incrementally adding features at this point trying to figure out where it is going wrong.
I have a kernel that only supports my HDD and ACPI, without acpi=off as a boot parameter my laptop hangs when booting, it hangs at
ACPI: Subsystem revision 20040715
This last time when copying over this message there was another message
<7>spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.
Any ideas, need more information or anything? The most annoying part of this is that I had a 2.6.3 kernel working perfectly until my HDD died (of course I didn't backup .config) |
