i use gnome and mozilla 1.6
now when i startx and longin
there is a pannel named desktopp setting
a xterm and mozilla.they all auto start,but i dont like that very much
even though,the mozilla managment lets me select user profils
i did make a name and select "dont ask at startup"
but it dosnt work. not one but many pages of "select user profile"
it makes me cray :twisted: :evil:

Its probably saving your session or loading one up
In gnome 2.4/2.6 run gnome-session-properties and see what it shows up.

I have chosen not to save any session, and also removed the default session, this way everytime gnome starts up its fresh

that should have worked, otherwise just got into the gnome meue. click APPLICATIONS, Desktop perferences, Advanced, sessions
