i use gnome and mozilla 1.6
now when i startx and longin
there is a pannel named desktopp setting
a xterm and mozilla.they all auto start,but i dont like that very much
even though,the mozilla managment lets me select user profils
i did make a name and select "dont ask at startup"
but it dosnt work. not one but many pages of "select user profile"
it makes me cray   |

Its probably saving your session or loading one up
In gnome 2.4/2.6 run gnome-session-properties and see what it shows up.
I have chosen not to save any session, and also removed the default session, this way everytime gnome starts up its fresh |

| that should have worked, otherwise just got into the gnome meue. click APPLICATIONS, Desktop perferences, Advanced, sessions |
