I'm using the latest version of Azureus on a VIA EPIA-V system and after a couple of hours the system completly freezes.
I'm using GNOME 2.6 as desktop suite. The system is also used as an http and teamspeak server and when not using Azureus it has a very long uptime.

Can somebody please help me out...

Try decreasing the number of maximum connections Azureus has (it's in tranfer options) to something like 150. Azureus was always causing my system to freeze when it was set at the default of 1000.

I'll give it a try, but I don't think that will work.
It also happens when I'm downloading just one file, in that case the maximum number of connections shouldn't be more than 100. :(

I'll post my findings tomorrow...

As I already guessed reducing the amount of global connections didn't solve the problem. :(
I'm also experiencing the problem when I use KDE 3.3.

Any other suggestions?

reducing the rate of new connections may solve your problem, also ensure that Azureus isnt allowed to max out your connection (set up and download rates to approx. 90% of available banwith) and check to ensure youre loading the correct driver for your ethernet card. however, it is possible that its your card is crashing, Azureus can be quite a strain on your hardware. If you have a spare one, you could try swapping those and see its more stable (this was, unfortunately, the only way for me to solve this issue on my old pc)

I've got the same problem on my wireless card, though it's not the card because I can run Azureus just fine in windows for as long as I like. Haven't yet managed to get a set of connection rates which doesn't cause a crash, but still gets the job done. Should have done more research before buying my wireless NIC card. Just bought a whole bunch of them at once.
