Is there a way to set xmms to have a default directory when trying to add music to the playlist?
Its kind of annoying to always have to start from the home directory instead of my music directory.
I have checked the man pages and the site, but without any luck.

I could be wrong, but if you go into ~/.xmms and open up the config file, scroll down towards the bottom, and there is an option called filesel_path
I've got that set to my music dicrectory and every time i start xmms, and go to add files, it goes back to that directory.
So, give that a try. |
