Audio works fine when my speakers are plugged into my sound card's output jack, but when I plug in headphones that work fine when plugged into the speaker's aux output jack, it sounds very tinny. Any ideas? |

"tinny"??? Do you mean metallic as in tin (Sn) or did you mean "tiny." Either way it is still kind of vauge. If the volume is just too low it could be that you have a weak amplifier on your sound card. I've had this problem with some integrated sound cards. I've got really good headphones but those cards are crap and the volume never reaches a decent level. I'd reccommend plopping down $50 or so for an SBLive. They are great for most uses.
Please, let me know if I misunderstood. |

I mean tinny, as in "metallic". I had no problems with the built in sound on my old G4 running gentoo-ppc. I also have nice cans, grado sr-80s (with the sr-60 foam earpads)...I'll try my SB 5.1 and see what happens. |
