ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1155:(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p failed: Device or resource busy
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:868:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
Alsa error: audio open error: Device or resource busy
This is the kind of junk I get after a while on my computer its normally associated with mplayer not starting(I'd suspect it was mplayer if I didn't know better)
I do a /etc/init.d/alsasound restart hoping all my problems will go away but the nasty machine just says
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device
now whats that about |

| Sorry I gan get sound working with a modprobe snd-intel8x0 this still does not seem 100~% right though |
