xorg update gone funny

hi,

had X working nicely with gnome. Then changed to fluxbox, worked fine. then upgraded both server and laptop to the newest xorg 6.8.0-r1.

server works fine but laptop does not. i type startx and i get:

(EE) Failed to load module "speedo" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) I810(0): Failed to allocate HW (ARGB) cursor space
(EE) I810(0): I830 Dma Initialization Failed
(EE) I810(0): [drm] Failed to initialized agp heap manager
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/CID/, removing from list!

its a dell inspiron 510m with nvidia graphics, do i need to do all the nvidia section again and opengl-update stuff?

as i am guessing I810 is reffering to the graphics card. i cross checked my two xorg.conf files from server machine to laptop, they look simiilar in most aspects.

please help.

ignore my bit about opengl and nvida stuff, i never did that on this machine as it uses i810 driver, not nvidia driver. .

ok, i did revdep-rebuild as i didn't do that before after removing all of gnome.

im now left with

(EE) I810(0): Failed to allocate HW (ARGB) cursor space
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/CID/, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/local/, removing from list!

if i look in /var/log/X.org.0 i have:

(WW) Open APM failed (/dev/apm_bios) (no such file or directory)
(WW) I810(0): Bad V_BIOS checksum
further down list:
(WW) I810(0): Primary Pipe is B, switching off second monitor (0x800) *what second montior?
