Hi, I have this problem...
I try to compile K3B (the ebuld k3b-0.11.17) on my Centrino laptop (se below).. but at the last package I get this error:

Code:

Warning: you chose to install this package in /usr,
but KDE was found in /usr/kde/3.3.
For this to work, you will need to tell KDE about the new prefix, by ensuring
that KDEDIRS contains it, e.g. export KDEDIRS=/usr:/usr/kde/3.3
Then restart KDE.

Good - your configure finished. Start make now

cd . && /bin/sh /var/tmp/portage/k3b-0.11.17/work/k3b-i18n-0.11/admin/missing --run autoheader
touch ./config.h.in
cd . && /bin/sh ./config.status config.h
config.status: creating config.h
config.status: config.h is unchanged

!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

this is my make.conf
Code:

# These settings were set by the catalyst build script that automatically built$
# Please consult /etc/make.conf.example for a more detailed example
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium-m -fomit-frame-pointer"
#CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer"
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86"
USE="dvd"
LINGUAS="it"

I even try to compile it as Pentium4.... but it crashes as well...

Please help me! :D

looks like there is no italian language file for this version of k3b.. just for a test, comment out the LINGUAS parameter in make.conf..
