I'm new in linux gaming. I was happy to see, that there are a lot of emerges for games i used to play in Windows: Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2003, enemy territory, Quake and so on.
Gaming worked fine, but i had no sound. But sound war working fine in KDE with multimedia. I searched for help in the forum, but nothing helped. Finaly, I found the solution in a topic that didn't have the keywords I looked for. The solution was:

rc-update add alsasound boot

as root. With

Code:

rc-update show ¦ less

you can see, if you already have alsasound running at bootlevel.
