Ok, I've read through all the threads I could find about the wpc54g, pcmcia cards and wireless networking. I have ndiswrapper and know how to properly set it up, I am just having hardware issues. I am using a Dell Inspiron 8500 laptop with the vanilla 2.4.27 kernel.

My problem is that when I run 'lspci', I get:
    pcilib: Cannot open /proc/bus/pci/03/00.0
"Unable to read 64 bytes of configuration space."

For whatever reason, there is some kind of hardware conflict on the pci bus (or somewhere). I tried changing /etc/pcmcia/config.opts to resolve possible memory conflicts, but to no avail. Anyone ever have the same problem, but maybe with a different setup?

thanks!
