I got an old alpha from my university and if I ever make it to remove that BIOS Password, I want to try installing Linux on that machine. My question is if Gentoo Linux supports the turbochannel architecture, and if the processor (EV4) is supported, as I can only find ev5 and later stage2 tarballs available for download.
Thanx for any comment |

Doubt it, no Linux distro supports TurboChannel architecture. since I'm not a Linux bigot , I'd try NetBSD and (maybe) OpenBSD.
