You know that thing where it does the [ok] and [!!] business when you load up or shutdown? Well when i reboot or shutdown it always seems to say [!!] problem closing Gdm. To the best of my knowledge this hasnt affected my day to day usage of gnome, but i dont like errors and was wondering what it is causing it. _________________ None |

because you have probably done this (reboot / shutdown) from gdm itself yeah?
Gdm has already shutdown, so then it tries to shut it down again, and complains because it is then not actually running.
This is normal. |
