On shutdown, verbose msgs say gdm didnt quit properly

You know that thing where it does the [ok] and [!!] business when you load up or shutdown? Well when i reboot or shutdown it always seems to say [!!] problem closing Gdm. To the best of my knowledge this hasnt affected my day to day usage of gnome, but i dont like errors and was wondering what it is causing it.

because you have probably done this (reboot / shutdown) from gdm itself yeah?
Gdm has already shutdown, so then it tries to shut it down again, and complains because it is then not actually running.
This is normal.

Ive used shutdown command at the console. So its nothing to worry about yeah? COol, ok thanks
