|
|
Hi everyone,
I've got a somewhat unusual problem, I want to install Gentoo on my Computer but I don't have a CD-/DVD-Drive. I have Win2k installed and a direct Internet connection (Uni ) and also a floppy drive. I couldn't find anything on this situation.. anyone got an idea?
Thx, Steffen |

You can install a minimal redhat install via 2 floppy disks and the rest via ftp (so with your internet connection well be as faster as if you have a cdrom drive).
After that, boot on the fresh redhat and install the gentoo as is described on the handbook
If you understand french, you can read this thread
Good install. |
