Hi I've just started using 3ddesktop and I must say it looks pretty nice. The problem I am having is that everytime it does a refresh my computer hangs for half a second. This is espicially annoying while watching movies as you can imagine.
Are other people experiencing this too? Or is their something wrong with my kernel scheduler?

Perhaps renicing X or 3ddesktop to a some low value (-15 for instance) might do the trick.

| Hey thanks, but unfortunately that didn't work, I was able to reduce the load somewhat.. but it still causes a significant load... any other clues? have others faced similar problems? |
