Has anyone noticed any problems with Kmail 1.7 (kde 3.3.0) handling imap connections?
Whenever I check my imap box the first time it connects it ALWAYS fails :? The second attempt works, it worked fine before I upgraded.
Thanks

I use ssl encrypted imap (imaps) for all my email needs. I built my own email server with postfix and courier-imap, it worked with kde 3.2 and it is still working with evolution, mozilla mail and squirrel mail.

Kmail 1.7 does not talk with my imaps server. With ethereal, i can see the initial tcp handshake but no data is transmitted. The connection is closed when some timeout expires or if i close kmail.

Also, when i setup a receiving mail account, the function "check what the server supports" is broken too. It make sense since kmail no longer talk to my imap server, it cannot check if crypto is supported.

I use evolution 1.4 to get around this issue but i miss kmail badly
