Okay, I've spent 4 hours patching and recompiling and doing this, that, and the other thing to try and get this card working in my Gentoo machine. The forums over there have been no help, and I'm wondering if any users on this board have had any luck getting the pcHDTV card working.
There seems to be 3 distinct methods people have reported working, but none of them have as yet worked for me. I dunno, this is getting a bit frustrating. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have had good luck with development-sources-2.6.7 and the patches from this website: http://www.nop.org/inkling/dtv/kernel/2.6/
Just follow the readme, the only step missing was how to patch. Move 2.6.7-vanilla-pchdtv.patch to /usr/src , make sure /usr/src/linux is symlinked to /usr/src/linux-2.6.7 and then run | Code: | | patch -p0 < 2.6.7-vanilla-pchdtv.patch |
