Ok. i know that some have posted about this before, but id just like ask the question: how many people are running gentoo as home web servers? Like actual servers hosting web pages and serving to more then just internal users? im running one here at home, but how many are doing this on this forum? i know that the forums them selves are running gentoo, and i have seen a lot of the Rsync mirrors running gentoo. My server also acts as a mail server and proxy server. anyone else using it as a multi pourpos semi production server? (semi production meening sites that are used a fair amount, but not making major money / no money to matter if they are up or down!) _________________ Lotas T Smartman

I'm doing some medium-scale web hosting using Gentoo and some scripts I wrote. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |
