Is it possible to configure pine to talk to an imap server?
Man pine and the pine's little config utility aren't all that helpful here...
(Evolution has bombed out for the last time - I'm switching to CLI e-mail)
For that matter, if anybody wants to talk me into using a different e-mail program, go for it - as long as it's command-line-based.

i followed the instructions and it works now, but everytime i start pine
it asks for my username and password
anyway around this?
oh, and actually, i wasn't able to get SSL to work either. by that i mean
i had to set the inbox-path to {hostname}INBOX
the {hostname/ssl}INBOX path didn't work for me.
