at the end of the boot screen, just before booting kdm "Can't open display" is shown.
how do i remove this error? KDE works fine, only if i start wine using superuser he tells me:

Xlib: No protocol specified

wine: Could not load graphics driver 'x11drv'.
Make sure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly.

where and how do i set $DISPLAY ?
