Hi, i have bought and installed some new ram memory in one of my gentoo-boxes, but they only shows up as 128MB in bios, they are 256.
i have read the manual for the motherboard (abit BE6) and it supports up to 256MB per slot.
and if i insert an 512MB it shows up as 256MB.
i uses Kingston ValueRAM KVR133X64C3/256 (sdram pc133).
does someone know if the BE6 have problem with this series of memory?

Does your motherboard support dual sided memory or single sided dimms? _________________ Nothing can stop me now, cuz I just don't care. |
