|
|
Hi!
Okay, this is not really important but since this is the first time I've compiled my kernel, I was just wondering..
I used to have this nice looking background when the system was booting up (a pale purple with Larry the Cow in white).. I had the background when I installed Gentoo and used genkernel to compile the kernel. But yesterday, the kernel was updated to 2.6.8-r3 and after everything was done (network running, sound modules added, alsa drivers re-emerged etc), the system doesn't bootup with the background anymore.. and the bootup res used to be 1024 but now it's just the regular resolution (800x600?)
Any ideas on what I missed?
Thanks,
Kristy
