Hi there,

Still having some problems trying to setup a mail server.. I can send/receive mail locally, and I can send mail from my server to outside mail accounts (however it sometimes comes up as spam).

Now I imagin my problem has something to do with the dns service no-ip.org... I have an account with them that points the domain name ngo.no-ip.org to my server. Anyways, If someone can see something that I have missed, I would be greatly appreciated.

error from trying to send mail to account jer@ngo.no-ip.org

Code:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at trentu.ca.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<jer@ngo.no-ip.org>:
0.0.0.0 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
Giving up on 0.0.0.0.

I have the same error now :-( Did you ever figure out what was wrong? If so, I would very much like to know what you did.

what if you put "ngo.no-ip.org" into rcpthosts too.

Is I understnad my qmail-installation, every domain must be in this file.

the local file ist only for reaching the users un the local host.

Greetings

Alexander
