hello,
i whant to have 3D on my GeForce 4 MX 440\SE tc-card.
i download from www.nvidia.com the driver script and installed it.
i have XORG 6.8.
whant i start games like UT2004 i can see tham but realy realy slow, in my mandarke 10/9.2 that games was fast.
my CPU in intel P4 2.66GHz.
what can i do?
the nvidia module i up and runing.

Hi,
You should try the drivers that are in the portage tree... If you want the latest version of the drivers, you can allways unmask them... Don't forget to run opengl-update nvidia after emerging the drivers (Note : you have to emerge both nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx).
I am sorry, but that's all I can say based on your post. If this does not solve the problem, could you post the output of glxinfo ?

i emerged to nvidia-kernel and the nvidia-glx and nothing hapend...
whant is the module name that i need to write in the xorg.conf? |

i unemerged nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx (emerge -C) and installed nvidia script from the website and run "modules-update".
