Imagemagick PNG to PS conversions on v 6.x not like 5.x

Hello,

I was happily converting scans with Imagemagick 5.x in PNG format to PS files with the command:

convert myfile.png myfile.ps

The converted PS was output to letter size (8.5 x 11).

It took me a while to figure out but Imagemagick 6.x performs the conversion differently. The outputed file for a 2550x3279 PNG no longer goes to letter size but sizes like 11" x 22".

I tried messing around with command line options but could never get a quality PS file to be produced at letter size (8.5 x 11).

Has something change in Imagemagick 6.x or is this a bug?
