Hi
I have an Hansol 710D 17" screen, that does 1280x1024 @ 85Hz
I run X @ 1280x1024, but I dont think its using more than 60hz.. im getting tired in faster etc.
Ive tried with xvidtune, but I dont understand that much. So Ive taken a screenshot of it so you can see.

So.. do I run @ 85 hz? and If I dont how can I set it to do so. Ive tried to past a modline (taken from xvidtune) into xf86config.

Most LCD monitors also show this kind of information in their OSD control panel. Hit one of the buttons on the monitor itself to open up the menu, and the first thing you should see (or maybe under Info...) would be the current resolution and current refresh rate. |
