sapete come si usa un modem esterno ??? porta parlalela ...seriale....
o un 33.5 faxmodem
o provato a fare

occhei se faccio
cat /dev/ttyS1
cat: /dev/ttyS1: Input/output error
e se faccio cat /dev/ttyS0
mi si accendono le lucine dell modem
pero se faccio

percio lui va a cercare la porta ttyS0
se faccio

io ho un vecchio modem 56 kbps su seriale e funziona tutto a meraviglia controlla:
-di aver attivato sul tuo kernel il supporto per la serial-port
-gli unici moduli che ti servono per attivare una connessione ppp saranno
ppp_generic (su kernel 2.6)
-crea un link symbolico secondo la porta dove hai collegato il tuo modem esempio:
Code: | ln -s /dev/ttyS0 /dev/modem |
ed testa il tuo modem con un prg tipo kppp così qunado farai l'interrogazione del modem vedrai se è tutto ok _________________ Poesia a gentoo: Gentù gentù senza di tù il mio computer fà pupù! |
