Salve a tutti,

compilando il kernel sul mio vekkio protatile alla ricerca di configurazioni ottimizzate mi è capitata una cosa strana.

Ho messo una topa come framebuffer e fin qui tutto ok, poi ho apportato delle modifiche qua e la ed ora praticamente all'avvio ho solo la topa (almeno quella :D ) e mi esce scritto nulla fino alla scritta di login, che esce, e poi parte kdm senza alcun problema.

In effetti il problema è solo di tipo grafico dato che cmq la console è abilitata e lo strano comportamento di "oscuramento" è da limitarsi al solo boot

Ho provato a rimuovere quiet dall'append e sorpresa delle sorprese mi esce il dmesg come è normale che sia, arrivato al momento di caricare i servizi e simili (per intendere quelli seguiti dall ok) non appare + nulla, quindi passo dal dmesg iniziale direttamente alla login con qualche secondo di pausa.

I driver video usati per il framebuffer sono i vesa, ho lo stesso splashscreen su 3 pc diversi ma solo qui mi da questo problema.
Ribadisco cmq che per un paio di giorni ha funzionato senza problemi

così su due piedi penso sia un problema di frame buffer "sbagliato".....
esempio:
il mio portatile usa intel830 di grafica che è l'evoluzione di intel810 ma con i810 su 2.6.x non vedo niente....e con VESA funziona da dio, prova altre configurazioni....

riavviare e vedere cosa succede?
Può darsi che sia X a far partire il tuo schermo, mentre il frame buffer non ci riesca. A me era successo, una volta, con delle scehde grafiche che stavano per rompersi.

Ma xdm parte alla fine dei servizi e poi cmq vedo da console che mi chiede la login mi manca solo la parte dove carica i servizi con i relativi [ok]
