hi there, i was wondering if there is anyway of viewing the compiled software you have on your system.
just so you know, and also for cleaning some of them if needed.

If you're asking how to list all installed packages, then one possible way is to emerge epm and do
or better

You can also use qpkg (part of the gentoolkit package) to get list of installed packages
