I am using a athlon xp 2400. I try to extract the stage3 tarball and its gets more than half way done then stops and says that there is no more space left on device but I don't see how it can't be anymore space on the drive is there anything I can delete to make it fit. |

Darwin,
I suspect that you have omitted the command
before you did the untar.
Then untar puts all the files into main memory, which is usually too small.
How much space have you allocated to Gentoo?
For a graphical system you will need at least 5Gb. _________________ Regards,
